Cary Mogerman Serves on AAML, ABA Family Law Faculty
In July, our partner Cary J. Mogerman once again served on the faculty of the American Bar Association’s week-long “Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute” in Boulder, Colorado. The Institute is an intensive eight day trial advocacy skills instruction and training program designed especially for the field of family law, and enjoys an enrollment of experienced family law attorneys from all over the United States seeking to improve their courtroom and trial advocacy skills. The Institute is co-sponsored by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (“NITA”), an organization known as the worldwide leader in trial advocacy skills training, and took place on NITA’s Boulder, Colorado headquarters. This was Cary's third summer as an instructor on the ABA/NITA Institute faculty.
In addition to the ABA Trial Advocacy Institute, Cary served in June as a member of the faculty of the annual Institute for Family Law Associates of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an annual four-day program designed for associates of Fellows of the AAML, and intended to help them learn substantive family law skills and practice methods. He lectured on issues in divorce taxation and second chair responsibilities in family law cases. He has served as an instructor of the AAML Institute since 2006.
