Penny Robinson Completes Collaborative Law Training

Penny Robinson, a member of the firm, presented a lecture entitled “Evaluating the Client and the Case” for a continuing legal education program of the Family Law Section of the Missouri Bar on March 14, 2014. The lecture was a part of the program entitled “Family Law Essentials: Divorce, Custody & Finance.”

Additionally, Ms. Robinson recently completed training in the practice of collaborative divorce at the Tampa Collaborative Divorce Interdisciplinary Team Protocols Training Institute, held in Tampa, Florida March 20-22, 2014. The training was provided by the Collaborative Divorce Institute. Collaborative law offers an alternative process for dissolving a marriage in which the parties, together with attorneys, mental health professionals and financial professionals trained in collaborative law, work together in an attempt to jointly resolve issues incident to the divorce.
